Clensia is used in strictly defined situations, according to the procedure of preparation for the procedure. Below is a detailed description of the dosage. Any changes to the way you take this medicine should be discussed with your doctor. Excessive consumption of the preparation may cause electrolyte disorders, which are potentially a threat to the patient's health and life.
"A single series of treatment to cleanse the intestines in adults consists of taking 4 A sachets and 4 B sachets, the contents of which should be dissolved in 2 liters of water, and the prepared solution should be taken orally.
The solution should be prepared and drunk before the procedure, in one of two ways:
1. Full dose on the day before the procedure:
In the evening before the test, prepare the Clensia solution by dissolving 2 A sachets and 2 B sachets in 1 litre of water and drink the prepared solution over a period of approximately 1.5 hours (1-2 hours) at a rate of approximately 250 ml every 15-20 minutes.
After an hour's break, the remaining 2 sachets A and 2 sachets B should be dissolved in 1 liter of water and the prepared solution should be drunk in a similar way. In addition, during the evening, you should additionally drink 1 liter of clear liquids (water, fruit juice, soft drink, tea/coffee without milk).
2. Divided dose regimen:
In the evening before the test, prepare the Clensia solution by dissolving 2 A sachets and 2 B sachets in 1 litre of water and drink the prepared solution over a period of approximately 1.5 hours (1-2 hours) at a rate of approximately 250 ml every 15-20 minutes. In addition, you should drink an additional portion of at least 0.5 liters of clear liquid (water, fruit juice, soft drink, tea/coffee without milk) during the evening. On the morning of the diagnostic test, the remaining 2 A and 2 B sachets should be dissolved in 1 litre of water and drunk in the same way, plus an additional 0.5 litre of clear liquid (water, fruit juice, soft drink, tea/coffee without milk).
From the beginning of the bowel preparation cycle until the end of the clinical procedure, solid foods should not be consumed.
There should be at least a two-hour interval between the end of fluid intake (Clensia or clear liquid) and the start of the clinical procedure."
