Good morning
I have been using Limetic single-component contraceptive pills for several years, according to the leaflet there may be irregular bleeding/spotting and so far it has been like that, from time to time they occurred but within 3-4 they disappeared now it takes about 7 days or maybe even longer... are not abundant. What could be the reason for this? Should I see a gynecologist?

With long-term use of single-component tablets, the risk of unexpected spotting increases. However, this does not mean that the drug does not work. However, this can make everyday functioning difficult.
It may be worth consulting a gynaecologist in order to change the contraceptive, e.g. to combined pills or patches. More here:
