The white coating of Bearded is a layer of dead skin and coagulated tissue that can be gently removed after soaking in warm water and carefully rubbing off, e.g. gauze pad.
The treatment should be continued until the skin lesion disappears completely or only healthy skin remains. Treatment usually lasts several days, up to 6-8 weeks.
