Should I worry if I gave my child Pecto Drill 10 days instead of 7?

Instead of 7 days, I gave 10, a 2-year-old child, I gave 2.5 ml in the morning and evening. After 5 days the cough subsided and I didn't notice that I had written 7 days from the doctor, on this 10th day she didn't get it in the evening. Should I worry?

Longer administration of Pecto drill (10 days instead of 7) does not pose a significant risk to the child's health. There is no reason to worry. It is worth bearing in mind that using Pecto Drill after the cough has stopped may cause too much mucus production, which can paradoxically cause coughing, despite the cessation of the disease.
