Why do I get spotting when using Systen50?

Hello, my daughter has been using the 50 system patches continuously for 3 years, she has not had menstruation yet. For three months she has had quite abundant spotting. She looks like she has her period, but the patches are stuck on all the time without breaks. What can this mean?

According to the package leaflet of Systen 50 patches:

"While taking Systen 50, you will have bleeding once a month (called withdrawal bleeding). If you have unexpected bleeding or spotting that is not related to monthly bleeding that: lasts for more than the first 6 months; occurs after using Systen 50 for more than 6 months; persists even if you stop taking Systen 50; You should contact your doctor as soon as possible."

The occurrence of continuous spotting is an indication for medical consultation. You can take advantage of teleconsultation, e.g. via the Gdziepolek.pl portal:
