Can I go to the swimming pool 3 hours after applying the medicine Efudix?
I cream Efudix 2 times a day (morning and evening) on a small spot on my forehead. Can I go swimming in the indoor pool 3 hours after applying the cream?

The package leaflet and the summary of product characteristics for Efudix do not specify the minimum time that the medicine is on the skin. Due to the fact that Efudix is applied 2 times a day, I encourage you to use the swimming pool before applying the next portion of the drug, unless there is exfoliation at the site of application.
If there is a wound in the area where the cream is applied, I encourage you to refrain from swimming until it has healed to reduce the risk of infection of the treated area.
