You can combine Parogen with GABA (gamma-aminobutyric acid). There are no direct interactions between paroxetine (Parogen) and GABA that could affect the efficacy or safety of the treatment.
It is worth bearing in mind that paroxetine acts on the serotonin system and can indirectly affect the level of GABA in the body. In rare cases, excessive sedation or drowsiness may occur, especially if higher doses of both substances are used. It is a good idea to consult your doctor before starting supplementation, especially if you are taking other medications or suffer from neurological diseases. Supplementation should start with a low dose of GABA and observe the body's reaction and avoid additional sedatives, alcohol and other substances that affect the CNS.
Furthermore, please note that oral GABA supplementation has a limited ability to cross the blood-brain barrier, so its effectiveness is debatable.
