Taking a dose of aripiprazole (5 mg) in the evening may be a good option if you feel drowsy and nauseous after taking the medication. However, you should always discuss changing the time you take your medication with your treating doctor to make sure it is safe and effective for your case (especially if you are using any other medications).

If you experience nausea after aripiprazole, taking the medication after a light meal may also help.
