Side effects that may occur with Xifaxan: increased abdominal tension, abdominal pain, constipation, sudden need to defecate, diarrhoea, flatulence with wind, nausea, painful urge to defecate, vomiting, fever. Consultation with a doctor is recommended. Increased side effects may be an indication to discontinue the drug.
