Can Spironol cause hives?

Spironol (spironolactone) used primarily as a diuretic and drug to treat hypertension, can produce various side effects, including allergic reactions that can manifest as hives, rash, itching, etc.

I encourage you to report the symptoms you experience to your doctor, as well as to report the occurrence of an adverse effect of the preparation.
