Can my 6-year-old son's drop in body temperature after the first dose of Tamiflu be a side effect of the drug?

Hello! My 6-year-old son is supposed to take 2x 30 mg of tamiflu twice a day. After the first dose, the temperature remained at 37.6-37.8. However, about 6 hours after the administration of the drug, it fell below 36 degrees (35.5 - 35.7). Then it rose to 36.4. Could this be a side effect of the drug?

A drop in body temperature after taking Tamiflu in a child is not a typical side effect of the drug, but may be related to the body's response to the infection that the drug is designed to fight. Tamiflu can cause a variety of reactions, but changes in temperature usually result from the disease process and not directly from the drug. If symptoms persist or are worrying, it is worth consulting a doctor to monitor the child's health.

With Tamiflu, the most commonly reported side effects are vomiting, headaches, and stomach problems.
