If I have slight pain in the perineal area after Atomoxetine, should I stop taking the drug?
Atomoxetine and the prostate.
Already after the first pill I felt a slight pain in the perineal area. After about an hour - two passed. According to the leaflet, this is an adverse reaction. However, is this a signal not to continue taking the drug? Unfortunately, I am unable to contact my doctor.

Side effects usually occur in the first weeks of treatment and resolve spontaneously over time. The occurrence of side effects does not always require abandonment of treatment, but if the use of the drug is associated with too much discomfort, seriously threatens health or the effects do not subside over time, you should consult your attending physician to choose an alternative therapy.
