Trexan is best taken with or just after a meal. Take the tablet whole (do not crush) with enough water.
Additional information:
Alcohol should be avoided during treatment with Trexan Neo, as well as large amounts of coffee, caffeinated beverages and black tea. You should drink plenty of fluids during treatment with Trexan Neo, as dehydration (a decrease in the amount of water in your body) can increase the side effects of methotrexate.
