Why is Defur 4 mg 28 tablets free for seniors (75+) Defur mg 90 tabl. is fully paid for the same seniors.? As recently as July 2024, it was free...

The list of reimbursed drugs is announced once every three months. The current list of reimbursed drugs is valid from January 1 to March 31, 2025. The current list includes Defur in a dose of 4 mg in a pack of 28 tablets.
A pack of 90 tablets was not included in the list of reimbursable drugs. There may be several reasons for this, e.g. the manufacturer may not have applied for an extension of the refund for a pack of 90 tablets.

If you have a prescription issued before January 1 for packages of 90 tablets (previously reimbursed) and you still have reimbursement indications (overactive bladder syndrome confirmed by urodynamic examination), then in order to maintain the discount, you should ask for a new prescription for smaller packages.

In order to obtain a new prescription, you should consult your doctor again or use a teleconsultation, e.g. via the Gdziepolek.pl portal:
