Karbis is a medication used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) in adults and in children and adolescents aged 6 to 18 years and in adult patients for the treatment of heart failure with decreased myocardial function when angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors cannot be used or as an adjunct to ACE inhibitor therapy when symptoms of heart failure persist despite treatment, and mineralocorticoid receptor antagonists cannot be used. It is not a drug with a calming and sedative effect.
