There are no contraindications to the concomitant use of both drugs, however, it should be borne in mind that Lisiprol may increase the effects of oral antidiabetic drugs, such as Lonamo Duo. This may be associated with an excessive decrease in blood glucose levels and the occurrence of the so-called hypoglycemia, the symptoms of which include, for example, tremors, sweating, palpitations, anxiety, wolf hunger. Therefore, the frequency of glucose monitoring should be increased at the beginning of therapy. If the medications have been prescribed by two different doctors, who do not have information about the other medications you use, I encourage you to consult one of the specialists about taking them at the same time. If you start therapy with a second drug and observe hypoglycaemia, you should consult your doctor again to prescribe appropriate treatment.
