Good afternoon. I have uterine endometriosis. I drank savis for a year, then the doctor put me mirena. There was discharge for two months, then menstruation began, which did not stop for 10 days. The doctor prescribed norkalut, but from him I had diarrhea and nausea (I drank them for 10 days) and the doctor prescribed duphaston. Is this the right treatment? I drank one pill and I have nagging pains in my lower abdomen.

Hi, I'm not a pharmacist or gynecologist, but I suffer from endometriosis just like you. In my opinion, the treatment is correct, and Duphaston is a different, milder progestin, often better tolerated. However, if you feel severe abdominal pain after the first pill, it may be a temporary reaction of the body (sometimes the first doses cause such discomfort), but observe it. I recommend looking for an endometriosis doctor on the website of the foundation "Overcome Endometriosis" or "EndoPolki", there are lists of doctors who deal with endometriosis. Endometriosis doctors sometimes use, for example, Visanne, maybe it would serve you better.
