Risendros is a medicine that contains risedronate, a substance from the bisphosphonate group. This preparation is obtained with a prescription, the specialist individually determines the period of its use for each patient based on the health condition and test results. According to the manufacturer's information, the optimal duration of bisphosphonate treatment has not been established. However, this drug can be used longer, for years. If a longer duration of therapy is necessary, the physician should periodically assess the benefits to risks of continuing to use the drug, especially after at least 5 years of therapy.
