I suggest refraining from using the lamp during the period of taking Unidox (and within a few days of stopping the treatment).
"In individual cases, photodermatosis may occur in the form of excessive skin burns. Patients who may be exposed to direct sunlight or ultraviolet rays should be advised to discontinue treatment if the first symptoms of erythema occur."
The wavelength distribution of light radiation indicates the close proximity of blue and near-ultraviolet light, which can cause a photosensitization reaction in patients taking Unidox. Theoretically, there is a difference in wavelength, but we are not always able to predict the body's reaction. For this reason, it is better to be safe than sorry and refrain from irradiation during this time.
