I have bronchitis, Zinnat did not help and the doctor prescribed Sumamed. I still don't feel any improvement, should I finish the antibiotic pack?
I was diagnosed with bronchitis, I took zinnat for seven days, but it didn't help me much, so the doctor prescribed me 2 op sumamed 500 if it wasn't too much antibiotic. For this time I took zinnat and one package of sumamed, I still have a cough and chest pain, should I take 2 packages of sumamed with peace of mind???

Therefore, the most common recommendations are to rest and relieve symptoms with painkillers and antipyretics, cough relievers and inhalations. As a rule, treatment does not require the use of an antibiotic. Nevertheless, it is the doctor who has full information about your health, test results and symptoms, it is he who conducted the test, and as a pharmacist I am not entitled to make a diagnosis, especially on the basis of a short description. Apparently, the doctor considered the use of antibiotics in your case to be justified. Follow the instructions given to you by your doctor and complete the prescribed antibiotic. If there is no improvement, you should immediately see a doctor and present your doubts about the treatment, he or she will recommend appropriate therapeutic treatment.
