Concomitant use of anti-inflammatory drugs (e.g. Voltaren) and Efectin may increase the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding. In such a situation, it is better to use Voltaren in the form of a gel on the skin. Oral use of anti-inflammatory drugs should be kept to a minimum, especially in patients with duodenal and gastric ulcers.
