Good morning!
I've been taking betahistine for dizziness for a year now with fairly good results. However, the doctor recommended discontinuation of the drug, unfortunately this makes me more dizzy. Can you use this drug chronically and for years or not really? I will add that I have a VNG test scheduled for March and only then will I find out if something is happening with the labyrinth.

Use betahistine for as long as your doctor prescribes. If necessary, the specialist may recommend a longer duration of use of the drug, e.g. several months or years. I suggest contacting the doctor again and presenting the observed ailments after discontinuation of the drug, he or she will recommend appropriate therapeutic treatment.
