Could eating a lot of salty nuts worsen the symptoms of a stomach ulcer?
15.00 zł

Hello. I was treated for about 4 weeks of pyler and probably because of the helicobacter I have an ulcer but I'm not entirely sure. I felt good, I didn't feel anything until I ate salty peanuts about 300g.
The next day I got a strong stomach pain and diarrhea, and the next day I got a stomach pain. Did I make it worse for myself with these nuts? How many days can the stomach hurt . ?? And what can you take on it?

Consumption of large amounts of salty nuts may have irritated the gastric mucosa, especially if there is an active ulcer or hypersensitivity due to Helicobacter pylori infection. Symptoms such as pain and diarrhea can last anywhere from a few days to a week, depending on the degree of irritation. It is recommended to eat an easily digestible diet, avoid fatty and irritating foods, and use stomach shielding medications such as proton pump inhibitors such as omeprazole.

If the symptoms persist or intensify, it is worth consulting a gastroenterologist. If you need more personalized advice, you can use teleconsultations here:
