Izotek is a drug containing isothetinoin, used in severe forms of acne, m.in. acne with the risk of permanent scarring. Isotretinoin restores the normal process of sebaceous cell differentiation, thus inhibiting the formation of blackheads and inflammation. The use of Izotek helps to avoid the formation of new scars, but it is not a drug used to treat existing scars.
