Otitis is one of the registered indications for the use of Amoksiklav. It is included, m.in, in the package leaflet: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/4794/amoksiklav-875-mg-125-mg-tabletki-powlekane/ulotka
According to the recommendations of the National Antibiotic Protection Program, amoxicillin (the active ingredient of Amoksiklav) is the antibiotic of choice (i.e. recommended in the first place) in the treatment of acute otitis media. It is usually recommended to take the drug at a dose of 1500-2000 mg every 12 hours for 5 days.
In the treatment of acute otitis, the use of topical preparations, i.e. ear drops, is not recommended. In order to obtain anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects, ibuprofen can be used, e.g.:
