Skudexa is a preparation containing two active substances: dexketoprofen and tramadol.
Tramadol belongs to the group of opioid analgesics. According to the Skudexa dossier, "Opioids can cause sleep-disordered breathing, including central sleep apnea (CBS) and sleep-induced hypoxia. Opioid use increases the risk of CBS in a dose-dependent manner. In patients suffering from CBS, a reduction in the total dose of opioids should be considered."
Skudexe should only be used in patients with sleep apnoea under medical supervision.
