It is not recommended to combine Solvetusan (levodropropizine) with Acodin (dextromethorphan) because both of these drugs have a suppressive effect on the cough reflex and, although in different ways, their simultaneous use may increase the risk of side effects, such as: too strong inhibition of the cough reflex (which can lead to mucus retention in the airways) and increased risk of sedation (drowsiness, fatigue).

In order to achieve an antitussive effect, it is enough to use one of the above-mentioned drugs.
