Do I need to use hormonal contraception during Izotek treatment if I don't have sex?

Hello, I have the following question. If I start taking Izotek but do not have sex, do I have to take Yaz birth control?
Can I only take Izotek? Thank you for the answer

"Isotretinoin (Izotek) is contraindicated in women of childbearing potential unless all of the following conditions of the Pregnancy Prevention Program are met:

• Have severe acne (nodular acne, acne concentricity, or acne at risk of permanent scarring) that is resistant to appropriate standard treatment with systemic antibacterial and topical medications

• Possibility of pregnancy must be assessed for all patients.

• The patient understands the risk of teratogenic effects.

• The patient understands the need for close monthly observation.

• The patient understands and accepts the need to use effective, uninterrupted contraception for 1 month before, during and for 1 month after the end of treatment. At least one highly effective (i.e. user-independent) method of contraception should be used, or two user-dependent methods of complementary contraception.

• When choosing a method of contraception, individual circumstances should be taken into account in each case, taking into account their discussion with the patient, so as to ensure that she is involved and adheres to the recommendations for the selected measures.

• Even if you do not have a period, you must follow all recommendations for effective contraception.

• The patient is informed about the potential consequences of pregnancy, is aware of them and understands the need to consult a doctor quickly if there is a risk of pregnancy or suspicion that she is pregnant.

• The patient understands and accepts the need to undergo regular pregnancy tests before, during treatment – optimally monthly – and 1 month after the end of treatment.

• The patient certifies that she has understood the risks and necessary precautions associated with the use of isotretinoin.

These conditions also apply to women who are not currently sexually active, unless the doctor prescribing the medicinal product considers that there are clear reasons indicating that there is no risk of pregnancy."

Taking into account the above guidelines, it is necessary to use contraception even if you are not currently sexually active. All details related to treatment and protection against pregnancy should be discussed with the dermatologist conducting the treatment.
