Is Distreptase used on anal fissure? It was prescribed to me by a proctologist, but the leaflet says that it is used for hemorrhoids. Is it also normal that after applying a suppository in the evening in the morning, its remains flow out during defecation?

Distreptase is also sometimes used by proctologists to treat anal fissures, even though the leaflet mainly indicates hemorrhoids, as its anti-inflammatory and clot-dissolving effects can promote tissue healing. Suppository residues during defecation are normal, as the excipients in the suppository are not always fully absorbed.
