Can I stop taking trittico, I've been taking it for over a week since that Monday, but I noticed that when I take it, I feel tired almost all day and have blurred vision, I contacted my psychiatrist and she told me to take a dose of 1/6 or stop? But I'm reading a bit on the internet and I'm afraid of this withdrawal, is it too short for this drug to work, I got it mainly for sleep, because I woke up at night every now and then, now I sleep well, in the morning I wash acipex and pramolan

These symptoms may be a side effect of Trittico. In this situation, two options can be considered - in accordance with medical recommendations.
1. Reducing the dose of the drug, which will facilitate the adaptation of the body if there is a need to continue the treatment (in this case - treatment of sleep disorders). Adverse reactions at lower doses cannot be excluded.
2. Discontinuation of the drug. After a week of use, you should not feel the withdrawal effect. Usually, the side effects associated with discontinuation of the treatment are stronger the longer the drug has been taken, especially in high doses.
The assessment of the patient's health condition and the possible need to change the treatment is the responsibility of the doctor conducting the treatment. For this reason, it is difficult to advise which solution will be helpful in your situation.

Blurred vision and drowsiness may be side effects of Trittico CR.
It may happen that these effects disappear with continued treatment. This medicine should only be used under the supervision of and as prescribed by a doctor, especially in combination with Aciprex. After reducing the dose, the side effects may not be as bothersome. In addition, if you have been using the drug for a short time, there is a low risk of withdrawal symptoms associated with discontinuation of therapy. Possible withdrawal symptoms may be mild and temporary. The decision on whether to discontinue therapy should be made after receiving information from the attending physician. Your doctor should indicate the most appropriate course of action for you based on your medical history.
The combined use of Aciprex and Trittico CR may increase the risk of the so-called serotonin syndrome manifested by, m.in nausea, diarrhoea, visual disturbances, cardiac arrhythmias. The occurrence of any disturbing symptoms should be consulted with a doctor.
If you receive unclear recommendations regarding the continuation or discontinuation of treatment, I encourage you to consult your doctor again. You can also take advantage of advice, e.g. via the Gdziepolek.pl portal:
