What you describe is a reaction to the treatment used, especially at the beginning of Acnelec (isotretinoin) treatment. A rash of new breakouts is quite common and can occur in the first few weeks of treatment as the skin begins to respond to changes in sebum production and healing. Itching at the site of the eczema can also be a side effect, especially when the skin becomes drier and irritated.

Usually, these changes disappear after a few weeks, but it is important to monitor the condition of the skin and consult a dermatologist to make sure that the treatment is going well.
