Can I take a second dose of Mounjaro after 6 days instead of 7 due to departure?
Good morning, I'm after my first donor of 2.5 mg of Mounjaro - zero side effects, actual reduction in appetite - the drug works. Can I take the second/next dose after 6 days (and not 7 as recommended by my doctor)? This is dictated by a trip for which I am simply afraid to take the medicine so that it does not spoil (it must be stored in the fridge).

In general, it is recommended that you take Mounjaro as directed by your doctor, which usually means a week between doses. However, a one-time reduction of this period by one day in exceptional situations, such as a trip, may be acceptable if you tolerate the drug well and there are no side effects.
