I have been using evra patches since February. I change the patch regularly on Fridays and last 3 weeks I knew the patch and a week off. Only I forgot to put the patch on Friday, I just put it on Saturday morning, so the break lasted like 8 days. On the 7th day of the break, I had sexual intercourse, but there was no end in the middle, is there a chance of getting pregnant and was I still protected?

In such a situation, the protection could be reduced. The break can be shortened as desired, but it should not be extended – it can last a maximum of 7 days. Now you should use an additional form of protection in the form of a condom for the first 7 days of the new pack of patches.
A new patch (the second one from the package) should be applied as usual, i.e. on Friday. The day of changing the patch remains the same.
Since there has been no vaginal ejaculation, there is no risk of pregnancy. All you have to do now is protect yourself for 7 consecutive days. After this time, the protection will be restored.
