Should I continue using Duomox after a break?

Hello, I have a question: I went to the ENT some time ago and she prescribed me Duomox because she diagnosed chronic sinusitis, I took it and then I stopped it, I have a bad smell from my mouth, should I continue to take it after this break? Because I have a sense of smell, but it's weaker and when I lie down or drink, phlegm runs down the back of my throat, the phlegm is white and I still have a white coating on my tongue

Discontinuation of Duomox, which is an antibiotic used to treat chronic sinusitis, can lead to incomplete recovery of the infection, which can cause bad breath and phlegm. These symptoms may indicate the continuation of the infection or the development of superinfections.

In this situation, it is worth consulting a doctor to assess the current symptoms and a possible decision to resume treatment. Continuing an antibiotic on your own without consultation can be risky, especially in the context of side effects and interactions with other medications.
