Mounjaro is available on prescription in pharmacies, but due to the need to order it and the high price, it is advisable to contact the pharmacy of your choice in advance to confirm availability and place an order in advance.

Mounjaro is given once a week, which means that one pack (3 pens) is enough for 3 weeks. In Poland, the same storage rules apply as in Germany – the drug should be stored in the refrigerator at a temperature of 2°C to 8°C. After taking it out of the refrigerator, it can be stored at room temperature (up to 30°C) for a maximum of 21 days.

Currently, it is not possible to buy a German e-prescription in Poland. The systems are not compatible, and Polish pharmacies are not adapted to read foreign health records. The cross-border e-prescription system in the European Union is still in the development phase and does not yet cover all Member States.
