To @Tomas:

Yes, solate (amisulpride) in low doses, usually up to 200 mg per day, has an activating and antidepressant effect. This is due to its selective action on dopamine receptors D2 and D3 in the limbic system, where it blocks dopamine autoreceptors in low doses, increasing its release. This can improve mood, reduce anhedonia, and alleviate symptoms of depression.

Is solian up to 200mg an active and antidepressant?

The activating effect of both drugs will be similar. However, it is worth bearing in mind that amisulpride (Solian) works longer than Sulpiride.

Sulpiride is indicated for the treatment of depression if other usual measures do not work. Solian is not indicated for the treatment of depression. Indications for the use of Solian include the treatment of acute and chronic schizophrenia with positive symptoms (such as delusions, hallucinations, thinking disorders) and/or negative symptoms (such as blunting of feelings, emotional and social withdrawal), including patients with a predominance of negative symptoms.

Nevertheless, off-label amisulpride can be used to treat severe depression.
As research shows: "Amisulpride has also been shown in many clinical trials to be an antidepressant for patients with severe depression. Partly due to amisulpride's D2/D3 receptor selective antagonistic properties, it has long been widely accepted that dopaminergic modulation is a proximal event responsible for mediating its antidepressant and antipsychotic properties." It may therefore have a slightly stronger antidepressant effect than sulpiride, but it all depends on the dose and duration of treatment. The dose and duration of treatment are determined by the doctor, individually for the individual patient, observing the body's response to the treatment.
