Among the over-the-counter drugs, you can use plant preparations such as Persen forte and Valerin max, which have a calming effect and make it easier to fall asleep. Hydroxychloroquine can cause cardiac dysfunction (including arrhythmia), so a significant proportion of sleeping pills - also available only on prescription - will be contraindicated as potentially increasing the risk of side effects. During treatment with Hydroxychloroquine, there is a risk of occurrence/exacerbation of mental disorders (including sleep disorders), so any unusual conditions should be reported to the treating physician.
