Naproxen can be safely used in children. It should be used for the shortest possible time and in the lowest effective dose. Long-term administration of naproxen, especially for 15 days, should be carefully supervised by a physician.
The use of naproxen for a long time is not recommended without regular assessment of the patient's health, as it increases the risk of side effects such as kidney or cardiovascular problems. In the case of long-term therapy, monitoring of kidney and liver function is also recommended.
