Zoloft is an SSRI (Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor) drug with m.in. antidepressant effects used in the treatment of depression and post-traumatic anxiety disorder. There are no direct contraindications to the use of Zoloft in athletes. According to available literature data, both short- and long-term SSRIs do not affect strength or physical performance during high-intensity exercise in young adult men.
