Two months ago, my gynaecologist prescribed me duphaston to support pregnancy and heavy menstruation. I haven't taken this medication since then, but I held off because I had an operation planned. Two weeks ago I underwent breast surgery and I would like to start taking the medication because it is my 16th day of the cycle - as recommended by the gynecologist. Are there any contraindications to taking after such a long time after the surgery or can I start treatment?

Recent breast surgery is not a contraindication to treatment with Duphaston. Follow the specialist's recommendations.
