Yes, Eliquis (apixaban) can affect the results of liver tests. While a relatively rare side effect, apixaban can cause abnormalities in liver function tests — in particular, liver enzymes such as alanine aminotransferase (ALT), aspartate aminotransferase (AST), and sometimes bilirubin may also increase.
