- the drug taken on an empty stomach can irritate the digestive tract
- the active substance contained in the drug is better absorbed with a meal
- the drug taken on an empty stomach can cause nausea
It is worth considering preparing the first meal in liquid form (cocktail/shake type), which is usually more easily accepted by people who do not like breakfast.
