Do I have to take it 8 hours apart? Then does it mean that the first time should be taken at 6 am?

If your doctor has recommended the use of the drug in 3 divided doses, i.e. every 8 hours, you should follow his recommendations. Fixed times for taking the antibiotic should be established. If you take your first dose at 6:00 a.m., take the next doses at 2:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. Every day you have to stick to the same, set hours.
If necessary, you can use teleconsultations here, it takes place in Polish:
