Such a combination can only be used on the explicit recommendation of a doctor. Invokana contains canagliflozin, Xigduo – dapagliflozin. Both substances belong to the group of SGLT2 inhibitors. Combining them can lead to a significant decrease in glucose through increased excretion of glucose in the urine. The risk of hypoglycaemia should be taken into account.
However, if your doctor has recommended this treatment, you should follow the specialist's recommendations.
