Egzysta (pregabalin) is recommended to be taken in two or three divided doses per day. This is the preferred mode of use, as opposed to one larger dose once a day, due to several factors. Taking the drug in divided doses helps to keep the concentration of pregabalin in the body more stable throughout the day. If the medicine is taken only once a day at a higher dose, the concentration of the active substance may rise sharply and then gradually decrease, which can lead to fluctuations in effectiveness and a higher risk of side effects (such as dizziness, drowsiness or difficulty concentrating) when the concentration is highest.

Egista is a prescription drug, so always use it exactly as directed by your doctor. The recommended dosage may depend on the individual characteristics of the patient and the indication in which the drug is administered.
