How to stop Lorazepam to avoid withdrawal symptoms and insomnia?

Good morning
I use lorazepam for insomnia at minimal doses (1/2, 1 g/day), but for several years, it remains effective. I ask, in order to avoid future damage from insomnia, how to eliminate lorazepam to avoid addiction and/or withdrawal, with alternative drugs

I have been taking Lorezepam for 5 years, I regret very much that I started, there is nothing good, I advise everyone not to take anything, but not pills, not to treat, but to destroy people

Long-term use of benzodiazepines is associated with the development of tolerance and dependence, therefore discontinuation of Lorazepam in this case should be carried out under the supervision of a psychiatrist (with the participation of prescribed supportive drugs). Treatment should not be discontinued on its own due to the risk of withdrawal symptoms.

"The risk of addiction increases with dose and duration of treatment and is greater in patients who are dependent on other drugs or alcohol."

"Symptoms associated with benzodiazepine withdrawal include: headaches,
muscle aches, anxiety, tension, depression, insomnia, anxiety, confusion, irritability, excessive sweating and withdrawal syndrome (rebound), when the symptoms that led to benzodiazepine treatment return in a severe form. These symptoms can be difficult to distinguish from the original ailments for which the drug was prescribed. In severe cases, the following withdrawal symptoms may occur: feeling unreal, depersonalization, hypersensitivity to sounds, tinnitus, numbness and tingling in the limbs, hypersensitivity to light, noise and physical contact, involuntary movements, vomiting, hallucinations and seizures."
