If you think that the Retimax you have purchased has an inappropriate smell, I encourage you to contact the pharmacy where you purchased the ointment.
Retimax does not contain fragrance additives, and its smell may be the result of natural substances such as lanolin. An odor of the "rancid" cream type may indicate inadequate storage of the product or a quality defect.
A quality defect can be reported by a pharmacy on the basis of your product complaint. You can also report a suspected quality defect to the relevant Provincial Pharmaceutical Inspector yourself.
