Polsart does not cause cough very often (in no more than 1 in 100 patients).
Prenesse4mg due to severe cough was replaced with polsart 40mg can it also cause coughing

Polsart (telmisartan) and Prenessa (perindopril) are drugs used to treat hypertension, but they differ in their mechanism of action and potency.
Polsart (telmisartan): It is an angiotensin II receptor antagonist (ARA), which means that it blocks the action of a hormone that causes blood vessels to constrict, which helps lower blood pressure.
