Since May 2024, I have been taking Rybelsus. I started with the 3 mg dosage. After a month I was prescribed the 7 one. But I immediately had problems: ferocious headaches, nausea, chest pains. And after a week the doctor made me go back to 3 mg. The weight, which was going down, stopped. Blood sugar is fluctuating. Will I have to go back to 7 mg and be sick or is it advisable to change medication?

Gradually increasing the dose of Rybelsus is aimed at reducing the side effects of the medicine. Perhaps your body needs a longer adaptation to the drug and a longer intake of lower doses. Whether you need a dose of 7 mg of Rybelsus or another medicine will be decided by your doctor. It is not said that with the next increase in the dose, the side effects will also be so strongly felt.
