Intramuscular administration of Devaxen (containing dexamethasone) and the use of Metypred (methylprednisolone) in the context of an acute allergic reaction should not affect the efficacy of the Orlifique contraceptive pill, as they act on mechanisms other than hormonal contraceptives. In addition, when taking white placebo pills, as in the case of Orlifique, their effectiveness is still maintained, as long as the previous tablets with the active substances were taken regularly.
